All user reports since then say that the problem has been fixed. This problem of dynamic themes not changing was reported to Google seven years ago. Google's Orca Island and Bus Stop dynamic themes are not changing throughout the day either. Same problem with Chrome-beta, which is synced on my computer with my Chromium browser.

I've turned on location history within Chromium, so Google ought to know where I am -actually I know Google knows where I am because I use Google Wallet- and I'm using Chromium's recommended setting for location too. My problem is that the theme is not changing. A couple of days ago I changed my Gmail theme to Tea House, which is one of Google's dynamic themes which is supposed to change throughout the day. I use Gmail for most of my email correspondence.
